LIMITATION is a condition inherent to independent and self-produced publications. How zines creatively deal with this condition allows them to shape their unique characters. In this panel discussion, PAPER (Platform for Architectural Projects, Essays & Research) invites guest zines such as Fulcrum (Jack Self), MAP (David Garcia), P.E.A.R. (Matthew Butcher) and Mark Prizeman (NATO) to critically reflect upon the context, process, outcome of the zine project, and how ‘limitation’ became a creative pulse behind these alternative voices and opened up unlimited opportunities.
