Glasgow Pecha Kucha Night 19: ICE LAB

2 October, The Lighthouse, Glasgow

An evening of exploration, architecture and science from extreme and remote environments. Architects, scientists, photographers, historians and designers will take you on a stunning visual journey from Mount Erebus in the Antarctic to the tiny Scottish island of Scotasay.

PechaKucha is a simple idea: 20 images for 20 seconds each. It’s a format that keeps things concise and moving at a rapid pace. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere along with the chance to have a free BrewDog Scottish beer.

The great line up includes Tim Burton, polar expedition guide and photographer, Sheffield; Melody Clark, British Antarctic Survey, Cambridge; Alec Farmer, Trakke, Glasgow; David Garcia, MAP architects, Copenhagen and Sandra Ross, Arts Catalyst, London.

Event hosted by Architecture and Design Scotland and sponsored by BrewDog, Scottish Craft Beer Company.
